As I'm writing this Twitter is down. It shows the lovely whale graphic being held up by expression-less birds. If you're like me this gives you a bit of the butterflies in your stomach. They might be twitter bird-shaped butterflies. Since twitter isn't a major component to my business I'm not worried for right now, but being someone who relies on cloud computing like Google's Gmail, Analytics, AdWords, AdSense, and FaceBook to run my business. If this happened with Gmail for a week (I can imagine an Android illustration holding up a fat guy) I would take an unwanted vacation from work. My email is an integral part of my internet business and of my employees. I would have to shut down for a few days. Cloud computing does have it's limiting factors. Mainly that your service is totally out of your hands. Since I don't pay for services like Gmail there is virtually no support. Pray all of you internet professionals that rely on cloud computing!
