You can help Hatian earthquake victums
3 million people were effected & an estimated 50,000 have died from the earthquake and it's aftermath. Here's more info on a wikipedia article.
Google has taken the initiative to donate $1 million and link from their homepage to this page where you can find information where you too can help.
You don't need money to help. You can SMS and two companies will donate.
The following organizations are accepting SMS donations in the US only:
SMS text “HAITI” to 90999 to donate $10 to Red Cross relief efforts
SMS text “YELE” to 501501 to Donate $5 to Yele Haiti’s Earthquake Relief efforts
Tranquil Blue has made a donation.
